1 Sam 8:13-15
1 Samuel 8:13-15 King James Version (KJV)
13 And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers.
14 And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.
15 And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants.

Revised English Version
13He will take your daughters to be perfumers and to be cooks and to be bakers. 14He will take your fields and your vineyards and your olive groves, even their best, and give them to his servants. 15He will take the tenth of your seed and of your vineyards and give to his officers and to his servants.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
13 This is what the kings of Israel would do, Saul would take David from being a shepherd to work as a harp player in the palace. Some kings were worse then others about this, some kings who followed God were blessings to the kingdom.
14 The king would take whatever land he wanted and take everything he desired, David sinfully took another man’s wife because he could as king even though it was sinful.
15 They would be under bondage of their king, we were as Christians under bondage of this world by while we now are under Christ, we are free under His authority thru His loving grace.
