Re: Hi
That will be nice. There was a creek on the Bible camp we use to live on and us kids liked to play in it. It had frogs and little, bitty fish. Is there fish in your creek?
Someday Mom wants to put fish in our swamp.
I'm not sure what part of Texas, but I've relatives in it.

Re: Hi
Right now the creek is the kind that dries up in the heat of the summer so it doesn't have anything in it except for some turtles... Hopefully when we put the little dam/bridge in place we can change that (least wise thats the plan )...

We all know how plans change, right?

Re: Hi
You have that right, I had planned on leaving the house around 6:30pm to go see my brother (he lives about 150 miles east of my house). It turned out that I couldn't even get started till after 9:00pm and didn't get there till after midnight!

Re: Hi
So what do you do on Sunday if you can not go to a church? Do you have a Bible study?

Re: Hi
Not as often as we should. I usually pray lots and think of things I've read in the Bible or just about wonderfull things God has done in the world.

Hi.....I've not posted here in quite a while, but I do like this site and since I can relate to your conversation I thought I would mention our place in the country. We just bought it 3yrs ago and it has this nice creek that runs right past our house with our deck built over it. Theres even a bridge to the other side. However...... We have found that during the summer, our "creek" becomes more of a dry "ditch"! But we do see lots of "critter" prints in the muddy parts. A family of racoons live nearby and of course, lots and lots of frogs! I like their music at night. (I don't eat frog legs either, tryingtowrite, just can't get past what they are! lol). My "livestock" consists of 4 cats, 2 inside, 2 outside, 1 blue heeler, and a horse....... God has blessed us!!
